I lost a lot of money to Captain Steven Riggs. I received all the photos related to Derrick Riggs the chaplain? Widow with two daughters bla bla....Met him on a real estate site called IDEALISTA in Italy. He wanted to buy my house....I probably bought a house for him! He was trying to launder money but the dumbass didn't conceil the money properly at the airport....etc etc. Who's calling who a dumbass? Ha, ha, ha... Anyway I couldn't send him any more money so his colleague Diplomat Evan Tajo announced Capt. Steven Riggs died from a suicide bomber in December.

He's on Instagram going by Arnold Riggs now. Claims to be a widower whose wife and 11 year old daughter died in a car accident five years ago. Says he's in Kabul and will retire in 2 months. Claims to be from Lenoir City, Tennessee. Uses some broken English and asks a lot of questions.

I have spoken to this same person he is telling me that his name is alex Vladimir widow with one child parents r decesed

He's now Alex Riggs on wechat. He told me he is a US Army and in mission in Yemen. Will be retiring as soon as he get back to the State. A widow and looking for a serious relationship.

well folks this person is going by lieutenant colonel Kingsley Riggs. I have chatted with him on Google's Hangouts since the 3rd of January 2018. I caught on to him because some of his chatting didn't make sense to me. He claims to be a chaplain. He claims to be in Aleppo Syria. he says he's 54 years old 24 years in the military about to retire from the mission he's been on This coming August. He says he's never been married no children his parents are deceased. he will reap what he sows one day all of them will scammers are the scum of the Earth. remember that name Kingsley Riggs do not respond to him. Anyways he's gone thanks

  • I think I've talked to him twice. The first time he used his own photos( video chat proved that) on someone else's Facebook account that man's name is Hajj Marizuk who is actually a farmer in Ghana. He immediately started telling me how much he loved me which scared me a little but we talked a few days and he started wanting money because the "bank where his life's savings was was closing and he had to get his money out immediately or lose it but I needed to send $2,000.00 to the diplomat so he would deliver the briefcase with his money to me. I strung him along and told him OK but I would have to get a loan from the bank and pretended I was going the next day. He was on google chat 6 hours that day waiting for me to tell him I got it . The only thing I told him was that I was on to him and he immediately disappeared lol. Then a person I think was probably the same man contacted me a few days ago.He used William Thomas this time with me and was using Derrick Riggs photos, was a christian(Catholic of course lol) a captain in the army and on a peace keeping mission in Afghanistan just like "Hajj" was lol. He really needed to change that if he was going to attempt to dupe me a second time. and was using pictures of Derrick Riggs. was from Dallas Texas no family and retiring in Feb. after 25 years The first time we chatted, I told him about Hajj" wanting money and that I had figured out he was a fraud so he never got around to asking for money this time. Besides I had my friend who had been in the army do a search for me. She did the same thing with "Hajj" and helped me uncover him. So she did a photo recognition search and found out the photos were Derrick Riggs. So I called him Derrick instead of William and told him I was on to him. and he immediately either blocked me or deleted the account which is probably what he did. so he struck out twice with me. I spent too much time in aol chat rooms years back and know how things can be done so I'm possibly more cautious than some plus I have that friend that knows a lot of search engines. just thought you might want this update on him. Thank you!:)

  • A video chat is very easy to fake. You have NEVER been talking to Derrick Riggs. NEVER. Unless you mean the Ghana farmer.. but you've never talked to the man in the pictures.
Also.. why 'string him along'...Yes. I will update here BUT... why talk to a scammer and keep it going. It only gives him scamming practice and you've made him better for next time and someone else may go for that loan.
It may be amusing.. it may be fun. But this will only stop when nobody speaks to them. That's not going to happen. Too many want to help them by chatting to them and polishing their stories.
Sorry if I don't agree with your methods.
Derrick Riggs is a Chaplain. He is a human. He is real and a husband and family man. He's not a random picture of nobody. Please put yourself in his wife's shoes as to how he is being used. Only when the chat to scammers stop will we do anything. That isn't going to happen. For some bizarre reason people seem addicted to talking to scammers.
Please start seeing the people victims in the pictures are humans and give them the respect they deserve. Let's stop getting scammers getting as far as the outrageous stories.

  • I also had the same problem the scammer claimed to Cesar Riggs took a lot of money from me that's disgusting the way they labeled the soldiers They made me believe it really was Cesar D Riggs and I fell in love with him

I have been talking to him since june 2nd he is going under the name malvin riggs good he said he is a lite colonel deployed in libya an only child from deceased parents and is originally from columbus ohio i think that it is so disrespectful to use our honorabl army men to scam women.

I just posted on here about riggs walker who was using one of chap.derrick riggs photos..the person claiming to be him ...his whatsapp # is still active in my phone...i really feel for chap.derrick riggs a man of god to be used this way...

    1. This poor guy is being used more than any other military officer in the history of romantic scams. Sure he is a nice looking fellow, but who uses an Army Chaplain as a romance tool? Come on scammers, can't you come up with something better than that??? No offense Champlain Riggs....

    3. I have been talking to him also since last week. He told me he was from Dallas Texas and was a lieutenant colonel in the Army. That he would be retiring June or July of this year after being in the military for 25 years. He also said he was Catholic. And that he was a widower. He is using the name Caesar D. Riggs. And he is on Facebook under that name.I asked him today what the D was and he said Derricks.

        Thanks for this.

    8. Seriously ladies, all u have to do is a reverse image search on google for free, to look up the pics of anyone who follows u and tries to talk to u on social media. Ur first clue should be the fact that they use English in a strange almost broken way, not similar to the way Americans speak, it's easy to spot and they misspell words they should know. Ur second clue would be anyone who ever asks u for $$ is a scammer! I have never not will I ever send one red cent to someone off social media or the internet!! Our men and women in the armed forces aren't going to be asking u for money, that's also a clue!!! But seriously the problem lies with gullible men and women who fall for these scammers and they are mostly Nigerian, so the US can do nothing to help u get ur money back!!! Smarten up men and women!! It doesn't matter how much $ I have anyone who asks me for it on social media is immediately reported and honestly it never gets to that point anyway, cause I said I reverse image search the pics of anyone who tries to contact me and I can figure out if they are real or not by doing that and if they pics don't come back flagged then u ask for a video chat and if they make excuses and won't do it, then they aren't who they say they are and u are being cat-fishes!!! Come on people use ur common sense and never ever ever take a person at their word or pic or face value, do ur homework, and NEVER NEVER EVER send anyone a dime!!!

      ReplyDelete
      Replies
      1. I agree with most of this.. but.. for gullible also say nice. Because nice people trust and they would never do this to anyone, so why would anyone do it to them.
We have to teach people not to be so nice !
Reverse Image Search is good.. but they are plundering Instagram and so not all come up so listen to what they say. You can tell a scammer a mile away.

Bottom line.. never accept a friend request from a stranger... and if you must, never send money to anyone.

One day they will sit on their phones with idle fingers because it will all be silent.. nobody will answer them.

He told me at the very beginning he had a 7 year old daughter and his wife died after giving birth to his daughter Ella. He hasn't asked for any money yet, but i fell head over hills for this attractive man. Claims he's over there on a peace mission in Afghanistan....I can't believe this!!! Derrick Riggs is a Chaplain. A religious man with a wife and family. Please, out of respect for him.. drop and block this evil twisted creature.
We will report that FB account.
Who really loves you and wants to get married to someone he has never met in such a short space of time.. this does not happen in real life. So why should it online? There are no Peace Missions in Afghanstan. They aren't a peace.. you can't keep it where it isn't and that is very easy to check on the U.N. website.
Yes he is an attractive man... his wife thinks so too !
