HE WILL TELL YOU THAT HE IS DEPLOYED TO AFRICA.
He will talk to you every day... and soon he will tell you he loves you. He needs to see you.... and you have to apply for leave.
He will go through the usual..send emails.. fill in the Fiancee forms and pay. Of course he will lie to you about a U.S. Army not letting him get to his pay so you have to pay $146 for the form.
You send the money to Sgt Wale James... in Nigeria.
Then you will have another email. You must pay $250 for 5 weeks or $650 for 4 months ...... so send Wale James some more money.
Then, when it is 'approved' ( and by now they know you will pay anything)... it's $475 for the flight.
But of course you wait.. and you wait.. and he will never come. Because there is no Rodriguez...
NO US soldier needs a woman to pay, no US Soldier can pick many weeks of leave ... and they wouldn't ever have to pay for a flight.
But the evil scammer who has told you he loves you will take the money..and make you wait.. forever... because it's all been fake.
Has anyone located the actual soldier involved?
ReplyDeleteIt is not known to me if they have. In my experience yes, they soldier knows because they Army knows. They have to. You can't have anyone stealing money so openly and publicly. So yes, they Army has to know they don't have a thief with them.
DeleteWe don't seek them out. They have had no part in this. They can do nothing about it and by experience this causes them a lot of distress. They shouldn't have to deal with victims and fallout of something they haven't created.
I found his profile on Facebook and contacted a fee people on it. One responded, she said that he goes to her church. When I sent a screenshot of his page on this site, she replied that it has nothing to do with her. Smh......
DeleteYou know there is never any need to find the real man and to contact friends on his page is an awful thing to do.
DeleteRespect him. He will know they always do. Don't involve others it puts them in a bad position and it has nothing to do with them. It's a shame you had to do that.
